Manna

The Manna Fund

– from their website “Manna Fund is a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing hope and financial assistance to individuals who need treatment for eating disorders. Manna Fund provides funds for residential and inpatient eating disorder treatment for individuals lacking insurance coverage or for those with inadequate insurance coverage. Manna Fund grants scholarships to recipients by providing direct payment to partnering eating disorder treatment facilities.”

Feeding the Homeless Project

Our dual purpose is to bring attention to this plight and provide an organization where volunteers can become directly involved in the preparation and feeding of the less fortunate that exist on the edge of our society.

As a 501c3 non profit organization, we are able to accept charitable donations and use them to deliver hot meals and emotional support to those men and women directly on the streets – wherever the need is greatest.”

 

CFY – Atlanta

CFY Atlanta– From their website “CFY successfully launched its Digital Learning Program in Atlanta in May of 2007. Since then, CFY-Atlanta has partnered with 14 high-poverty public middle schools throughout the greater-Atlanta area, reaching 7,000 students, their teachers, and families within four school districts: APS, Clayton, Fulton and Gwinnett County Public Schools. To maximize our impact, CFY-Atlanta focuses on key Atlanta-area school districts and helps them leverage digital learning to transform their low-income school communities, promote educational equity, and improve student achievement so that every child is college and career ready.

The momentum we have built in Atlanta has been tremendous, with many individuals, corporations and foundations providing financial, volunteer, and in-kind resources. Our local board of directors and technology advisory board – comprised of key community leaders within the community – continue to assist us with expertise, awareness-building and fundraising activities.”

The Atlanta Quality Assurance Association (AQAA) was founded in 1984 with the belief that no one company or individual can learn everything that is needed to assure a Quality Environment. AQAA is a not-for-profit organization which is organized to share state-of-the-art Quality Assurance methods, tools and techniques among its members. Our membership is comprised of professionals working primarily in the information systems industry. The AQAA is a Quality Assurance Institute (QAI) Federation Chapter.

ASP AtlantaASP – Atlanta

The Atlanta Chapter of the ASP is a community of strategic thinkers dedicated to building individual and organizational effectiveness through planning and execution. Our community includes representatives from most of the top Atlanta area businesses and includes a variety of industries. Members learn from and network with some of the best and the brightest strategic leaders in the Southeast.

Our programs are held in the mornings on the 2nd Friday of each month. We alternate between speaker presentations and interactive roundtable discussions with practical exercises, covering a variety of strategy-related topics. Networking opportunities with the speaker(s) and other attendees are included in all of our meetings.

Opportunities for further involvement, through participation on specific committees and Board membership, provide further opportunities for learning and networking.
